Colt designed, manufactured and installed Canary Wharf’s iconic stainless steel pyramid. This 40 metre high structure is an instantly recognisable symbol of London’s Docklands, dominating the eastern skyline.

The stainless steel louvres had to be manufactured to the highest levels of accuracy, ensuring the exact lines of the pyramid were achieved. This 30 metre square construction weighs over 100 tonnes, with lights fixed to each blade to illuminate the pyramid at night.
